Great photographs especially as you still have the snow coming down the blog from the widget!!
I love Sepia photo's.
Thank you for the lovely comments on my blog. I too would like to go for a walk every day to get fitter and a little slimmer!!Mustn't overdo it though as I have a back and knee problem.
This sepia version is soft with an air of nostalgia. Sepia or B&W? Depends on the image and the feeling you wish to convey. I like sepia for portraits. I took a different tack last week with my snow scene. I used a slight blue tone to cool the image a bit.
I've not explored use of sepia, interesting effect here! I usually think of sepia for creating an "old photo" effect but I like the idea of creating a calm mood. I need to explore this, too!

The sepia is beautiful - it makes the whole scene very soft and soothing.
There was piece and quiet in your park. Have you tried a simple bluish tint? Might give a "colder" feeling.
Happy New Year.
The sepia is nice but I prefer the clarity of b/w, myself.
Love your Happy New Year graphic!Maggie

Sepia was a good choice! Do you still got the snow?
Groetjes Irene
Nice pic and I think sepia is the best choice for it too...
