After a few weeks away because of our moving I am back on Mosaic Monday, hosted by Mary from the little red house;
This is my collage. I made some pictures of all the mess we had while boxes were packed, and unpacked in our new home. There were about 150 boxes and on one photo you can see the pile of them when they were empty. Moving is such a lot of work.
For more mosaics go to Mary's blog.

Oh wow - what a lot of work that must be - but I bet you will so enjoy when you are through and truly at Home!! ;o)
Hi Riet! ...and welcome back! I remember those sorts of pics all too well 5 years ago when we moved into our present home. Happy unpacking!
That is a lot of packing and unpacking. I hope you took some breaks. Enjoy your new place, Riet!
It makes me tired just looking at all the boxes! I know we'll move someday, but I'm not looking forward to it. I do go through things and get rid of them from time to time, though.
Oh my goodness dear Riet, how did you ever do it??? That looks like weeks of work at the pace I go. I am so glad you are in your new home and back on-line.
Of course I would see your message, I read every comment I get, and enjoy hearing from you so much.
hugs to you...
jij zit lekker tussen de dozen riet....
Hoi Riet, wat hebben jullie een hoop uitgepakt. Mooie lichte flat, en nu genieten he?
Hoi Riet, wat een werk zo'n verhuizing. Mar zelfs daar maak je een mooi mozaiek van. Pfff, 150 dozen, ik hoop dat je niet kleiner bent gaan wonen.
Groetjes
When I moved about 11 years ago I had a major clear out and when we moved here 8 years ago it was so much easier.
Hope you will soon be all unpacked and settled very soon.

Liefs Josephine
Wow 150 boxes, I find moving so stressful. I am always try to decide what I do not need anymore. Glad you are finially moved and settling into your new nest. Take care and enjoy the week.
I think you two need to sit down and relax after all of that work...wishing you a happy new home!!!
Lots of boxes. I hope you are happy in your new home.
I can see your a busy lady. I love to move. It always feels like a fresh start to me. I haven't moved for 28 years now. Doylene
Hello Riet
I wondered why I hadn't seen you listed on MM and now I know.
Hope your move went well.
Hi Riet!
Moving is such a big job! I have lived in the same house over 30 years ... it is so full it would take a year of getting rid of things before I could pack.
Welcome back and Good luck in your new home!
That mosaic took me back to our military days when moving day came every year or two. Perhaps I should save your mosaic and bring it out if I get itchy feet and think of moving....all that work!
This reminds me of my house at the moment as we are totally rearranging some of our rooms.
Scenes like these make me happy that I don't have a lot of stuff. :)
Also brings back memories for me, numerous times! Hopefully we will stay put this time. Hope you are all settled.
