Alphabe Thursday.

Alphabe Thursday is hosted by Jenny Matlock. This week we need to come up with words beginning with the letter N.

Yesterday I posted mostly flowers from a park called Nymans. It used to be a beautiful estate  but I will let you see there is Nobody there.

The park and the gardens are still beautiful , kept so by the National Trust in England.

Such a lovely place, but it made me want to cry thinking about only the walls left. The flowers are beautiful and the estate is wonderful!

Hoi lieve Riet,

Lieve groeten,Ger

Those walls must have been really well built if they're still standing and everything else is gone. Beautiful gardens.

Hello Riet,
What a beautiful and enchanting place. It's amazing that it has been preserved and the gardens and grounds so well maintained. The bench is beautiful as is the entire surroundings.

Also kind of sad at the same time.

hugs

It must take hours to trim those trees and keep them neat.

Hi Riet, I think that to leave walls like that is history and makes it more atmospheric. There is still a lovely house to view as you found out although I was surprised you were allowed to take internal photographs NT used to be very strict against that, I think now some say take you can take them without flash. The garden is a joy to walk round all year round but especially in the Spring. Great photographs. Do you still have your spell check on for the post as some words are showing in yellow?

Looking forward to more posts on my wonderful country, to see a visitors view.. Jackie in Surrey UK

How sad to have just one side of the walls. WE in New Zealand are protesting they are not trying to save the earthquake destroyed buildings.

Oh my! It's so lovely! I'm glad the National Trust keeps what's left in good shape.

And those roses? Beyond beautiful.

Great N, Riet!

Hoi Riet,

Lieve groet, Madelief

It's so sad to see it in disrepair. At one time it was a showplace!

These photos are just fabulous, as well as wonderful site.

There must be many stories these barren walls could tell, if they could only talk!

Thanks so much for sharing this, because I would never have seen it otherwise.

Thanks for the photos.

The gardens are amazing, especially the roses. I wonder how they get those shapes for the trees and so perfect too?

It's a shame they've let it go to ruin. Seems a waste not to enjoy such beauty.

The dahlias, those have to be my favorite flower and I can't wait for mine to start blooming. The estate looks like a place I would like to try living in for a while.

What a beautiful place. It really feels like you can feel the memories in that spectacular place.

This was quite a nifty link for Alphabe-Thursday's letter "N".

Thank you for sharing it.
