Walking in Amsterdam.

Today I am entering three memes so I had to find a photo that was good for all three.  I found it.
This is the Raadhuisstraat in Amsterdam centre, very well known and not far away from The Royal Palace.
On the other side of the road is the Westerkerk (Westerchurch) and in one or two windows on the right side of the photo you can see reflections of it.
We did live in the neighborhood when I had only one baby many many years ago so when we went for a walk we often passed these shops . Nothing really changed here.

An amazing looking old building! I REALLY need to go there. I promise I won't go to the coffee shops (wink wink)...

Fijn weekend! Lieve groet, Ingrid

Interesting architecture - brings back brief memories of 1980 when we stayed in the Krasnapolski not far from here I think.

Liefs Josephine

How wonderful to see a lovely scene like this and to know that it has not changed (or very little) over the years.

Congratulations for finding a photo that met the criteria for three memes - bravo!

Bon weekend,
Genie

Great pic, Riet! Have friends living there, and I wouldn't want major things changed in the inner city:)

Dag Riet,

That is a wonderful building! The shape is so unlike what we have, it is older and more classic in style. I like the outdoor seating at the restaurant - on a warm day, a fine place to dine and watch the world to pass by...

There are shadows aplenty in this photo. I see "Utrecht" on the side of the building. Is that Utrecht Straat?
