These are so lovely! My Sepia Saturday this week has a lawn mower in it too! Your flowers are so lovely on your blog header, are the first ones called Bee Balm?

Wonderful captures for the day, Riet! I love the windmill, brought back memories of my visit to The Netherlands! Great shadows, too! Hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend!

Hello Riet.

I think your photos today are wonderful.

The winmill is great and the shots seem so old fashioned and romantic.

Have a lovely weekend.

Black and white photographs are so striking and all the more interesting when they are not subjects that one sees in her own corner. I have to say however, that the lawnmower did remind me that I need to mow the lawn. ☺

Thanks so much for popping by today! Always nice.

Those towering structures are so grand! Love the perspectives and the monochrome highlights all the detail! My favourite must be the windmill style, so unique to the Netherlands!

When I saw your name in the list, I thought that it was time to ask you to post some windmills again. Low and behold you did it. Like your header, too. I am wondering what the other structure is...maybe a church. It is certainly an impressive one. genie

I haven't yet been to the Netherlands, but hope to do so - the first thing an American thinks of about Holland are the windmills, and these two are beautiful! The black and white showcases the lovely shapes of the windmills and buildings - giving them a classic aura. Very nice!

De foto's zouden bijna uit een sprookjes boek kunnen komen.
