Monday, Tuesday.

We are in the middle of a rain period  .It is raining now, it did rain last week and it will rain again this next week.

We went for a ride in the country because we thought it would be dry for a few hours. On one country road we were warned for overflowing water as it has rained so much. AS you can see on one photo you can see how high the water was. A bit later it started raining again as you can see on one geese photo. We were waiting for a ferry when these geese came walking by . They were probably seeing if there was any food coming from the cars waiting there in line.  So funny. Here are my photo’s to show. I made them from the car.

I can see that the water table is very high where you are - like here, in the lower areas. So much rain!

Madelief x

Sorry, so much rain! I guess the geese do not mind the rain at all. Love the goose parade. Have a happy week ahead, Riet!

Josephine

Very charming photos of the geese. Hope your weather will be better soon. Here we have a heavy snowfall just now. And in the of April you'll have a king instead of a queen!

I am glad you got out for a drive despite the weather. The geese don't seem to mind. Valerie

Those are great pictures -- I can hardly believe you got such good ones from the car and in the rain -- you are so talented! The goose "parade" is very funny!

did you have the song as a child "rain rain go away, come again another day". Your post reminds me of that. I know I feel like that when it rains day after day.
Have a wonderful week and stay warm and dry.

Beautiful photos Riet.

Just like New Zealand in Winter - rain! We have wonderful summer now though!!
The geese are lovely too and they are opportunists - alway looking for an easy meal!

As we say in English: real weather for ducks (in your case, geese!) I love the raindrops on the windscreen; adds character and love the geese marching towards the ferry harbor. Lovely post and your photos are always spectacular, Riet. Greetings from Jo, Tanzania.

Those geese look like they know where they are going! Rainy here, too.

So strange to see geese wandering round what is probably a fairly busy ferry area! Amazing how possible food can attract them! Love the bold colours of the building in the background!

Mooie foto's Riet!

Geese are messy creatures but so much fun to watch! They are good citizens watching before crossing the roads!
As always your photos captures are wonderful! Lots of great blues! The overcast skies are spectacular! I wish we had moisture! We have no snow and absolutely no rain! Be safe and good to see you here! Have a cup of tea and stay warm and dry! Hugs Anne
