Monday, Tuesday.

Since there is not so much to photograph outside at the moment I am going to show some more  of the crafts I made during the years. Somebody asked what the knitting was for, well,  it is going to be a scarf.

I am decluttering big time  and I have to get rid of loads of stuff.  I have two big baskets full of  beautiful wool , from years back also so I thought I had better do something with it.  Too good to throw out. The little bag I crocheted last week of very thick wool I had for ages. I found an old one I made some  40 years ago , the colors then  were brown and green. Not nice. The pillow cover I started a few years ago , I just had to crochet a few more rounds of the silk yarn to finish it. I also found some granny squares here and there so I am going to make some more for an afghan or so.

The wool is beautiful, lovely colors. I am sure there is some place that would take donations. I do think it is good to declutter and downsize. Lovely mosaic! Have a happy week, Riet!

lieve Rietje. Dat tasje is
toch heel schattig. Ende sjaal
die je aan het breien bent is
van een materiaal met een GROOT
aaibaarheidsfactor.

Het ziet er zo heerlijk zacht en
aangenaam uit.

Geniet van een heerlijke week,

Veel liefs,
Josephine

You've been busy. I'm trying to work through my stash of yarn too. Love the tea cup!

Wow not only are you a great photographer but pretty crafty also. I have two grands going into the same college this year. Just started an afghan each for them in their college colors. Scarlet and silver. Going to do the ripple. I love the look and feel of the yarn.

I love the beautiful bag that you made and that stack of quilts. I need to use my fabric and get busy sewing. It's time to see what I should get rid of, too!

It must be lovely to work with so much colour at this dull time of year. Good for you for de-cluttering and enjoying what you have!

Leuk al die wolwerkjes. Ik heb vroeger ook heel veel gebreid, maar opeens was het over, wolwinkels verdwenen, maar nu komt het weer terug. Moet ook nog twee zakken met wol hebben.

it is so good to declutter. I must do it too! But even better to finish projects long forgotten. I love the crochet bag you made. I recently gave bags of wool and material to our local aged-persons home for their crafts.
Have a wonderful week.

You do beautiful work, Riet. It's always good to use up stuff from one's stash, isn't it? I'm trying to do the same thing - use what I have before getting more.

What a creative way to spend some cold winter days. All those colors in the purse just make me happy. In fact, last fall I almost bought a shoulder bag with these same colors--brand Le Sac, I think it was.

I love your mosaic, the pictures are so pretty - such a lovely cushion cover, and the teacup is beautiful - I like the effect you've done on the mosaic to give it a vintage look with the hazy edges - beautifully done.
