Ours had the same hight.

Two bridges near Stavanger and those beautiful fjords in the background.

Wouldn´t you want to live here ?  So beautiful.

Lots of water so lots of boats. And fjords everywhere.

Your photos today and in your last post really show off the beauty of Norway. What a pretty town! The cruise ships really dwarf the houses! Thanks for sharing Riet!

sfeertje zeg. Ben er nog nooit
geweest maar heet ziet er zeer
verleidelijk uit allemaal.

Fijn weekend verder,

Veel liefs,
Josephine

There is such a charm about Stavanger - the contrast of the tall ship against the town is outstanding. It appears that the village looks as if it did 100+ years ago, the cobblestone pathways built so well a long time ago rising steeply to the summit. Such beauty!

I love the red house, and the red roof mixed in with so many white homes against the lush landscape-I would love to live there-looks perfect!

These are lovely photos, Riet. The one with the street going up and houses on either side showed a real contrast to scenes in other parts of Europe where the houses are stone instead of white painted wood.
Cruise ships have been coming into port in our town lately, too. They are enormous!

Hi Riet. Those cruise ships are so huge! I see them from a distance across the bay, anchored next to the tall downtown skyscrapers here in Vancouver so I don't appreciate just how huge they actually are. It's like a floating city, isn't it. Thank you for showing such lovely photos of Norway. Yes, it would be nice to live there for a while. :)

I can't post with my open ID the way your comments are set up (stupid Blogger) because it says the url is missing, but it isn't. It will let me use the open ID if comments are embedded.

I am visiting via Mosaic Monday. When I saw your first photo, I assumed it was Holland because of your blog title, but my first thought was that it looked more like Norway. And then, I read and saw that I was correct. Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories of a visit to family in Boda.
