Monday, Tuesday.

Last week the  weather here has been hot, hotter, hottest. Too hot to blog and do anything really. Just try to keep calm and cool.

The pictures  I am showing today are made by my granddaughters while we were in London. Like me they made a lot but I just picked a few for today.

The Dominion Theatre was almost next to our hotel.

They were showing “We will rock you” the musical by Queen + Ben Elton. We didn’t have time to go see it. Would have loved to.

We did use the subway a lot. The best way to get around.

So many people spending their holidays there. Nice taxi.

Brings back memories of years ago . . . We used the subway all the time too. I remembered feeling a bit skittish about it in the beginning . . . but the way to get around, for sure! Nice to see some of the granddaughters pics.

That was great! I was just telling The Great Dane today that I'd love to visit London during the winter, just to see shows!

Hi, it is lovely in your part of the world because when your own place is a bit difficult for you, it is easy to go somewhere else, that is kinder in terms of conditions.

Lieve groet, Marja

That little taxi is a bright little bubble in the street! I saw the stage show of "Rock You" in Melbourne and was utterly dazzled by it! It was great! Love the theatre where it is being done in London. Grand photos.

so much to see and o in London and so much history. Unfortunately we can't always do everything. We visited in 2005, so thankyou for this glimpse back. What a great statue on front of the theatre.
Have a wonderful week, and stay cool Riet. How hot does it get where you are in summer?

How lovely to be able to travel with your granddaughters. Mine is only 3 months old and I am already 68 so I am not sure how much travel I will be able to do with her. I'm in Mumbai now for six months. Won't be back in San Francisco till early Dec, in time for her first Christmas.

My Ruby Tuesday is at:

I was afraid of the tube (subway) at first, but soon felt right at home -- it really is a great way to get around. Your granddaughters are good photographers too -- they inherit your talent!
