Key Largo.

After our two days stay in Miami Beach we went for a short stay to Key Largo, first of the fabulous Florida Keys. The Keys are indeed fabulous and oh so beautiful. I have a link here to Key Largo but if you want to learn more about the Keys just Google Florida Keys.

http://www.visitflorida.com/en-us/cities/key-largo.html.

Maybe some of you remember that movie with Humpfrey Bogart and Kathryn Hepburn “Key Largo” that was filmed on this island. And maybe you remember that boat the African Queen? I made a photo of that same boat, much smaller than you would have thought.: ))

Lieve Riet,

Maak er een mooi weekend van!

It looks so beautiful, sunny and hot there Riet. It's so cold here right now so these photos cheer me up. Have a great weekend.

Mooie post.

Good morning Riet, We have been in Florida almost two weeks and today we are heading home. Our time here has been wonderful, which included a short Disney Cruise. My last three posts are all about the cruise.

All of your photos and memories of your stay in Florida are all so familiar to me. I know I have mentioned we were raised in Miami from the time I was 10 years old. Over 57 plus years of my life. Key Largo was a place we visited often over the years. However, I never saw the boat from the movie African Queen. It is a movie fave of mine and I am surprised at the small size of the boat as well. I'm glad your vacation was so wonderful. So are you photos.

Wishing you happy times getting into the Christmas season.
Hugs, Jeanne

It does look like a fun time! I love that shot of the Key Largo II from the back side. Beautiful blue waters.

I love the Keys too. (Not Key West, it's too weird, a once-in-a-lifetime is enough place)...but the rest of the Keys are fabulous and we loved spending time there.
