This time of year it usually is rather cold over here. Not this time. We had hardly any frost and no snow at all. Different from other parts of the world where there inches of it as I read on several blogs.
This is also the time of year that I like to think about going on vacation , like where and when.
It is so nice to look at photo´s that bring back memories.
I did make a little collage of photo´s I made in England when we were there a few years ago. I would love to go and visit those beautiful gardens again.
A person can always dream….right?

Riet, lovely photos from your England trip! The gardens and flowers are beautiful. Enjoy your week ahead!
Riet even your postage size link up drew me in. What gorgeous garden photos make up this mosaic and I know they bring you happy memories!
Dreamy pictures . . . flowers and greens sound wonderful right now. Nice to see pictures!
I would love to visit the gardens of England, the place where it all started for us in Canada. At least you've been, I'm still dreaming. ;-)

Lieve groet, Ingrid
I love those lavender blues and dark crimson reds together!
We spoke to our daughter in France last night and she said it is 10 degrees and raining - no snow either!
I always love your photo mosaics Riet!
Wishing you a happy new week in the Netherlands.
Hugs
Shane in New Zealand and sometimes in France!

dromen is ook heel erg prettig.
Geniet van een fijne week,

Wouldn't it be lovely to pull up a chair in that garden and have a cup of tea. I can see why you loved it there. Valerie
It's good to visit your blog again, Riet. Happy New Year!
I'd love to be planning a holiday in a sunny place - preferably a place with a long beach and wonderful clear water. On the other hand, I'd be very happy to sit in that summer garden to sip tea and chat.
Wow, what a beautiful garden and flowers in your mosaic. I hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy your very nice winter weather.
Your lovely mosaic brightens my day!

Hi Riet, what a lovely lovely collage!! My visit to some parts of United Kingdom in 2012 (specially to Anne Hathaway's Garden in Stratford-upon-Avon) was my utmost inspiration for requesting my bf that when we have our own house, I want a space to have my garden where I can grow different flowers :)
Your wish is the same for me, I wish to visit the beautiful gardens and castles in the UK again in the near future!
Happy Blue Monday and I believe it's not yet late for me to wish you and your family, a healthy, happy, and prosperous 2014!
PS. If you have time to check, the link for the Anne Hathaway's cottage in my blog is:

wat een heerlijk fleurig logje lieve riet,
zonneke erbij en het is feest :-)
Het is altijd leuk vakantiefoto's te bekijken. Je krijgt meteen weer zin om weg te gaan. De tuinen zullen nog wel even bruin blijven ben ik bang, je weet nooit wat er nog gaat komen deze "winter".
A lovely mosaic of photos - the house is beautiful and I hope you get your wish to visit here again soon.
The English do have bunches of lovely blooms.
Please consider returning and leaving a comment for me.
Happy Blue Monday, Riet!
A beautiful collage of flowers.
It never hurts to dream as you never know they might come true. Sometimes, that is all we have.
What lovely gardens to enjoy, when it is especially bleak in many parts of the world.
Beautiful blue, great post!
Fijne week!
Madelief x
Riet, I enjoyed seeing these colorful blooms on a snowy day in Breckenridge. I'd love to visit those gardens, too.
Exquisite photography montage and do hope your dream comes true ~ carol, xxx (A Creative Harbor)
Happy new year, Riet!
Lovely garden shots .... would like to visit some of the gardens in England sometime :) I love gardening, but I have some visitors (Two roe deers)that eats all my tulips and roses.
Wish you a great week .... groetjes Irene
Such beautiful captures of such a beautiful place, Riet!! I do love gardens like this! Your photos are the next best thing to being there myself!! Have a great week!!
It is so good to look back over past photos and remember those sunny days and beautiful places.

luv the flowers; they look like, bougainvillaea
much love...
the flowers are so beautiful.
The brick house is so lovely with it's long history and patina. The garden is a fitting setting, so lovely, it would be nice to visit there. My husband was explaining that the polar vortex moved over Canada so North America had record lows but Europe was much warmer than usual. Enjoy!
Eigenlijk verlang ik naar wat sneeuw, maar als ik dit zie word ik ook blij. Prachtige plek!
Lieve groet,
What glorious beauty!!!
Just found your lovely blog! The look of an English style garden is so beautiful and you have captured it well. Thank you for sharing!
You can take the girl out of England but not England out of the girl... - loved the mosaic and share your desire to get back there soon!

Your photo's of the garden are beautiful. I can see why you dream of going back.
Denise
I often dream about England! Those photos are just incredibly beautiful...we saw such great flowers when we were there (and that wasn't why we went ... it was such a wonderful unexpected bonus).
Beautiful collage of flowers. I do love when all my blogging friends travel because I hardly ever leave home. I get to enjoy the world through you.
