Mosaic and Blue Monday

Today I am participating in Mosaic Monday, hosted by Mary from The little red House and Blue Monday hosted by Sally from Smiling Sally at Smilingsally.blogspot.com
Today I made three blue mosaics and I will tell you why. Last week we went to visit the Royal Delft Factory "Porceleijne Fles" This must be something for our Blue Monday fans. This is so beautiful. And remember everything is handpainted.
In my first mosaic I just some of their beautiful pots, the second shows what they can do with tiles and the third shows some pictures of the factory, a studio where they show how things are made and two pictures of outside on a little parking lot. they even painted the wall and the garbage container. I have a few more pictures I will show later this week.
There is still time to enter my give-away. The link is on the sidebar.
Please click photo's to enlarge.

Hope you enjoy.

I love the blue and white pots and the other two mosaics are great too. The last is my favourite with the blue and white features outside. :)

Hi dear Riet,
I am supposed to be on a blog break, but I couldn't take time off untill I came over to see your beautiful posts. Todays and the ones that I have missed. The mosaic for pink Sat. was so wonderful with the little lambs, goat, and beautiful flowere. The tulips in the next mosaic are such a welcome sight for Easter.
The hand painting on the Delftware is gorgeous. It amazes me with it's beauty. Wouldn't it be lovely to be an artist in the factory and be able to paint these beautiful vases and dishes?
I will come and see you in a few days when I have some of my chores done.
hugs

Beautiful shots. My wife and I visited this factory in Sept. 2008 - almost no one else in the place so we had it to ourselves. I have many wonderful photos and memories of it - and your photos rekindled the memories. Bedankt!

Good morning Riet. I want to thank you for the lovely card you sent to me for Easter. It was lovely and I enjoyed it so much.

I love Delft and long ago I gave my only piece to my niece for her wedding shower. I wanted her to have something special from me. I really do not decorate with blue but I am a admirer of that color. Especially with white. I would LOVE to visit the Delft factory one day. Your photos are wonderful today. I know you really enjoyed your visit there. I can't wait to see more. I know Sally is loving these pics.

Have a lovely day.
Hugs, Jeanne

Hoi Riet,

Wat leuk dat je naar de Porceleine Fles bent geweest. In het najaar deed ik er een workshop met mijn werk. Is ook erg de moeite waard om te doen! Je hebt prachtige foto's van de vazen gemaakt!

Fijne avond!
