Outdoor + Watery Wednesday

For Outdoor Wednesday hosted by Susan from A Southern Daydreamer and Watery Wednesday at WWW.Waterywednesday.blogspot.com I have this photo I made last week in Kinderdijk. Last year I made lots of pictures here in Kinderdijk but this one I made in a different place in the village where you can see almost all 19 mills .

My gosh - that is just wonderful, look at all of those windmills. Love it. I have been to Holland, it was so long ago though, I remember the tulips, not so much windmills..at least not this many. This is great!

I love windmills too, and have collected a few vintage etchings featuring them. Dropping by from Outdoor Wednesday.

I never saw so many windmills in one place. You did a super job capturing them all. Nicely none.

When I close my eyes and think of the Netherlands, this is what I see.
Your photo is so lovely and the windmills are fascinating.

***Hollands***

Mooie molens mooie foto!

Fijne dag Riet!
Lieve groet,
Ger

What a wonderful photo, can't say I've seen to many windmills like that here in Australia. Looks like I will have to travel overseas to see such a beautiful sight. Happy Outdoor Wednesday.

Thank you for posting this Riet. It makes me happy to know that these windmills still exist -- it looks like the picture I've had in my mind since childhood -- while knowing as an adult that things everywhere change, it's just lovely to see these still there!

Hoi Riet,

Lieve groet, Madelief
