Alphabe Thursday.

Alphabe Thursday is hosted by Ms Jenny Matlock. This week we need to find words with the letter S.
For me it was the word Summer.
As we are nearing the end of summer I am thinking it was not such a super good one. We didn’t have  much sun and had  a lot of showers .
During our stay in England we visited the most beautiful gardens and they all said SUMMER.  I think you agree when you see these photo’s.

Lieve groet, Ingrid

P.S. Ik hoop op een lange 'after-summer' :-)!

Beautiful flowers, I especially like the purple ones.

We had no summer here in Ireland and are still waiting for it to arrive!!

I just lost my comment so I am trying again. Riet, your photos are beautiful! I have been to the flower auction in Aalsmeer, and the flowers there are equally beautiful!!

The luxury of all that colour - fabulous! I love the red of the poppies amidst the blues and whites and even the purples.

Wow what beautiful flowers, we are very lucky in the UK to have some wonderful gardens. The RAIN and sun really make them grow, ;-))

We are hoping to visit Great Dixter in a weeks time while in the area, I am not sure there will be much in flower then though.

Have a great weekend, Jackie in Surrey, UK.x

Those are definitely beautiful summer flowers :) Our summer here has been record heat almost every single day. All flowers that normally bloomed this season ended up dying because of it :(

Bonjour Riet
Your blog is always so full of wonderful colours. I've always wanted my little cottage to look like an English Garden. It's not happening ; ( I should just scatter seeds and let God grow them wherever he pleases.
Happy Thursday my friend.
Love Claudie

Liefs Josephine

Oh my goodness, my goodness. So much beauty in one post, I don't know where to begin. I love the woodsy 'feel' to all this, but the colors just dance. I'm delighted visiting with you today.

Good news and some MORE good news is my Friday post. Hope your weekend goes smoothly!!!

Dag Riet,
Verlangen is groot. Wens je een fijn weekend!
Lieve groet, Marja
