Alphabe Thursday.

This week we have to find words beginning with the letter U for ms Matlocks class.
I found a few but I go for one word only this time. It is Up-the-stairs.

PLease click to enlarge photo.

Note that the stairs on the top left are going nowhere.  Just for show.Glimlach)) There is really nothing it can go to. I took this photo in the south of France. The rest of them  were made in English gardens.
That is all for this week. For more U photo’s go here: http://jennymatlock.blogspot.com/

Hoi Riet,

Liefs, Madelief x

I love the idea of stairs that go nowhere. It just sounds like a French idea, you know? Aesthetic about all else?

Dag Riet,

A very good idea for Alphabe-Thursday. It looks like something might have been there at one time and now just the stairs are left.

I like the way you thought outside the box for your U photos.

That was a really good idea for U. There's something about a twisty stone staircase that beckons one...

I like that top left one - a stairway to ...

Loved your garden photos too - lovely to see what people can do with nature.

Steps are always so inviting. I'm always wanting to see what's up at the top.

I'm not always so enraptured of coming DOWN, though!

Thanks for a cute link this week,
Riet!

A+

This is such a cute post :) I love wondering and anticipating to see what's up a lot of stairs. Sometimes it's a pleasant surprise and other times it makes you want to run back downstairs. The ones found in English gardens most likely lead to beautiful gardens though, right?

Now that's a common enough U-word that I don't think anyone used! I love the photos.

How funny. As soon as I looked, I thought 'English'.

I love the steps you have chosen. They are all so full of character. They make you want to climb...
