Monday, Tuesday.

Every year at the end of April we have the fair here. I used to love it when I was a kid. Did you?
Here just a little impression of what we saw during our short walk. Usually around this time of year the weather is a lot better and definitely warmer. Now  it was too cold to stay longer.
The photo of the big wheel in the dark I made last night from our window.

I am linking this post to Mosaic Monday :
A big thank you to the hosts.

We had a fair in town too growing up and I always went with some girlfriends.
I see some yummy cotton candy in your photos - pure sugar and sticky, but a special treat at this type of event.

Lieve groet, Ingrid

Oh Yes, I loved going to the fair when I was young and I took my son when he was young. The food and the rides were a treat. If I went now, it would be to look at the arts and crafts tables. Wonderful photos, Riet! Have a happy week!

A fair would sure put the winter blues away and say hello to spring. Valerie

It looks like everyone had a lot of fun at the fair. I used to love going as a child.

What a fun collage of the sites at the fair! I never got to the fair until I was in my teen years and the only ride I liked was the Scrambler. No ferris wheel for me as I'm afraid of heights. I hope your weather warms up and you have a great week. Pamela

Many fun things to do at a fair! Enjoying your pics a lot :)

Yes, when I was younger, I enjoyed the fair. Then, one time I got so dizzy and sick on a ride that I've never wanted to return.

Thanks for playing.

Happy Blue Monday, Riet.

Riding in those bubbles looks like so much fun.

I loved fairs as a child, but I'm not big on the crowds now.

I'm sure this is spectacular fun for many but, in response to your question - I'm not a great fan of fairs. I find the bustle and crowds and noise and movement overwhelming. I wish I liked them better!

Hi Riet, I'm back from my blog break. Our 50th anniversary was wonderful, with many friends and family surrounding us with love. We are blessed. It is good to be able to visit you today.

It has been colder here in the mountains too. Spring is late and wind and rain are knocking all the blooms down as well. Not a very pretty Spring this year.

We too enjoyed the fair with our children especially. Your photo at night is very nice. A nice view for sure. It looks like a terrific time for all.

Thank you again for your Ecard and well wishes for our anniversary. It seems like it has gone on and on. Smile. Starting in Dec. in Europe and ending with my most recent post about the celebration. I planned the party and made all of the centerpieces and candy mints etc. It was lots of fun and it felt like I was planning a wedding. Smile We are so blessed to have loving friends and family.
Wishing you warmer days.
xo, Jeanne

When we lived in Germany, right up against the border with the Netherlands, every year in spring and fall there was a Kermis that came to our little town. It was not large, but what a lot of fun it was for everyone!

Oh yes, I loved the county fair! And still enjoy things like this occasionally, if only for the photo ops! Great memories...

Too bad it was so chilly this year. I'd think that little kid on the bungee jump would really have been cold, but I guess young ones don't notice that as much.

I haven't been to a funfair in years! Not since the kids were young. I am still waiting for the grandchildren to appear, I guess I will get a second round when that happens :-)
