Monday, Tuesday.

At the end of our cruise we visited England. We made an excursion to a little old town called Winchester in Hampshire.

Just a few photo’s from there. The Icons were in the Winchester cathedral . I will show more photo’s in the future.

De ijshorentjes van de straat oprapen en nog gebruiken? ha,ha.Je had mooi weer in Engeland. De iconen zijn bijzonder in een engelse kerk.

Hi Riet, I’m so excited with your post of Winchester. Your photos are great and brought back my own memories of this beautiful cathedral and town. We took the train from London for a day trip. I’ll never forget my visit there. Thank you for sharing your trip photos. I’m going back to scroll through again. Have a great week.

I've often read about Marks & Spencers but today in your photo is the first one I have ever seen! A much smaller store than I pictured!

The cathedral is beautiful. We used to have Marks and Spencers in our mall and I loved shopping there.

Your photos are a delight to the eyes. I always enjoyed looking at them. Thanks again for the tour. I played too. Mine are here and here.

Very well captured typical street scenes although I have never seen a McDonald's litter patrol before. Let's hope they are going to employ them throughout the country.

Het is altijd zo heerlijk
om oude steden te bezoeken en met
een excursie hoor je weer een
mooie stukje geschiedenis van het
betreffende stadje.

PRACHTIG lieve Rietje, de iconen
die je laat zien van de
Winchester Cathedral.

Wat een giller zeg al die ijshoorntjes op de grond, ohhh

Geniet van een fijne week,

Veel liefs,
Josephine

Lovely town that feels like a village. Subtle red brick offers an understated view of the buildings and I am taken with the ruby ice cream cart, just what we hunger for on a warm summer day. Nice!
