Wednesday.

As I said on my former post we were in England on the last day of our cruise. We visited a little old city called Winchester and here are   a few buildings I saw.

Then there was this man standing like a statue and I really thought it was till I saw he followed me with his eyes. ;))
The other photo’s are of a few restaurants or pubs .What I love in England is the great names most of them have. See for yourself.

Weer geweldige foto,s Riet.

Liefs Riet.

Wat is het toch altijd heerlijk
om al die prachtige bouwwerken
te bekijken. En wat is dat altijd
knap hé lieve Rietje, die
levende standbeelden, zo
mooi om naar te kijken.
In Amsterdam zie je dat regelmatig
en toevallig onlangs in Sneek
was er ook een groepje. Ik blijf
daar altijd een tijdje naar kijken.

Veel liefs,
Josephine

These are really beautiful and interesting buildings Riet. The 'stone' man on the corner would be kind of creepy.

Such interesting buildings and narrow little streets. Everything looks so picturesque. I've seen those "statue men" before and they can be quite scary..lol!

My husband and I visited England in 1985, which has been a very long time ago. It is one of my favorite trips because I love the theater district. I love the churches. I love the ancient buildings. I love all the flowers and the canals and, and, and.

Lovely photos, Riet.

It was lovely to see your great photographs of Winchester. We visit there occasionally as it is about an hour and a half journey from here.
