Monday, Tuesday.

There are so many taxies in London, countless really, I decided  I am going to show a few more of all the ones I saw with names on them.

Hello dear Riet! I love the color in the streets of London! I am so HAPPY to read that there are many taxis there because if I ever visit London I would definitely have to use them because the idea of having to drive on the other side of the car scares me to pieces :)!!!
I love seeing all the beautiful things you captures while in London. What a wonderful thing for you to share!
much love...

I guess they do a good bit of advertising don't they? They are similar in shape as the old taxis when they were all black and more somber looking! And that wasn't that long ago, our kids were little ... Such fun pictures to behold! Thanks for posting them. Along with the red double decker buses they make quite a riot of color!

That was fun! I don't know if I prefer the old black ones or these colourful ones!

Ohhh wat een vrolijkheid
lieve Rietje, enig al die uitgedoste
taxi's. De keer dat ik in London
ben geweest, HEEL LANG geleden

Josephine

The red buses really stand out, so much nicer than a dull colour.
I like the huge lion sculpture, I'd be sure to have my photo taken with it.

They are all so cute and different. I think ours are big...we carry too much luggage, I guess! Love the bright colors! Is that a new banner? It's beautiful!

Hi Riet,

Love the double decker red against the creamy cement background of the buildings. Such movement in your images - go, go, go!

Thank you for sharing these images Riet - I've only ever known London cabs to be black. Doubtless these splashes of colour will brighten some dreary days (while also helping the income of the cabbies through advertising)!

Oh how fun! The colorful ones are different from when we were there.

Clever way to advertise. They are a lot nicer than the ones we see. Fun subjects for your mosaic!

What fun they are! I wonder if they are reimbursed for the advertising. I am sure this is true!

I would have never imagined taxis in London to be so colorful and painted with names on them. Interesting. I loved the glimpses of the buildings along the streets, too.
Thank you for sharing.

They sure add a lot of colour to the streetscape!

There was ralk about putting ads like this on NYC taxis! I'm not sure it was met with approval. Some NYC buses had ads, however. Happy Monday to you, Riet! I hope you are enjoying the summer!
