Monday, Tuesday.

Sometimes things happen in your life that make you sad, so very sad that you don’t know what to do but cry and hide.

That’s why I didn’t post for a while.

Some days ago we went for a ride in the country. I made some photo’s and I want to show  few of them.

Those lovely dogs jumped in the river all the time and had so much fun.

Wat naar dat je zoveel verdriet hebt (gehad), Riet...we willen het liefst een ander en onszelf alleen maar gelukkig zien, maar helaas is dat in het leven niet altijd het geval. Veel sterkte gewenst.

Liefs, Ingrid

Riet, I am very sorry you have been sad. I hope things are better for you and I know that all your blogging friends are thinking of you and hoping too.

I hope the drive into the country and the beautiful scenery gave you a few moments of peace and happiness.

(Sometimes I look at my blogging as my happy place where I can forget problems for a few moments and just pretend that my whole world is about nothing but beautiful scenery and flowers and happy days!)

Dearest Riet

That's so sad - I wish I lived nearby and could give you a hug, but I'm 12,000 miles away across the ocean in New Zealand.
However I'm sending you warm virtual hugs and love too.

Your photos today are beautiful as always - and yes those dogs were having such a fun time I can see.

Dear Riet, I so hope everything looks better right now. I have been sad too. My sister has Ovarion Cancer and will have surgery in two weeks. I am so scared for her. She is my backyard neighbor and we are so close.
Time with our loved ones is so precious isn't it?

Your photos did make me smile today. Thank you. I love the dogs and the lovely flowers. Your photos 'always' make me smile. I mean it.
Hugs, Jeanne

I know that I just "met" you but I understand how it feels to be so sad about something, and not have any desire to do much more, and needing solitude. I hope things are getting better for you.
I am so happy to have found you, I love finding bloggers in Europe who blog in English. I am fascinated with the lifestyle over there so I look forward to seeing more! Thanks for sharing some of your country side visit with us! I am a new follower!

Riet, I know what you mean, as I've had family sadness and disappointment also this summer. Let's pray together that better days are ahead!

Your windmill photos always fill me with happiness! I lobed the photo of the running dogs, too, as they looked so joyful!

It is hard to feel happy when something in our life is not going well. A drive or a walk can get rid of some of the cobwebs for a while. I do hope your sadness will pass and you will be your sunny self again. The photos were lovely and I was happy to see some of the same flowers there as we see here. Valerie
