Great Dixter.

While looking through my albums I found these photo’s from Great Dixter, former family home and garden of gardening writer Christopher Lloyd for over 40 years ,in east Sussex England. We were there a few years ago in mid summer as you can see by all the flowers in full bloom. I chose a lot of red for this collage because there were so much of it in those gardens at that time.
It is so wonderful to look back and remember all that beauty.

Prachtige foto's van Great Dixter Riet! Ik ben er twee of inmiddels al weer drie jaar geleden ook geweest in het voorjaar. Ik heb er net zo van genoten als jij. Het is een prachtige tuin!

Fijne week!

This looks like a lovely place to visit. So many of us have gardens that have "given up" for the autumn/fall. The brilliant color is wonderful.

Wat reen fantastische omgeving
lieve Rietje, het huis en de
verscheidenheid aan flora rondom.
Voor een schrijver een uitstekende
plek om inspiratie te krijgen.

Prachtig al de rood tinten, het doet
zo heerlijk zomers aan, heel mooi.

Geniet van een mooie creatieve week,

Veel liefs,
Josephine

Hello Riet
Nice to have you link with Mosaic Monday this week.
The grand gardens of England are on my bucket list, especially Great Dixter. The red flowers are fabulous as they seem to jump right out of your photos.
Have a good week.

The red is so stunning. I have the corcorsmia (can't spell it) growing here and it does make a profound statement. Love seeing your mosaics.

Oh so bright and beautiful Riet -- and so welcome on this rather gray Oregon day. Each flower is perfect in separate pictures and the mosaic is perfectly put together. .
