Autumn.

It is autumn here. Falling leaves everywhere. Not my favorite time of year but thank goodness it is not really cold yet.
Also a  busy time . Getting ready for the holidays, keeping up with the wishlists of the  family and trying to get it all done in time. At least I can try . lol.
Can you see this this country has lots of bicycles. We all have at least one so that will be  about 17 million, wow.

I love seeing all those bicycles , Riet! Bicycling is very popular here in Colorado, but even so I've never seen so many bikes in one place before!

What an interesting mosaic! So many bikes... and you don't seem to have any snow yet!
Thank you for sharing and have a lovely week!

Oh my! That's worse than trying to find a silver car in a parking lot here. :) You'd never see that here although we are trying to make our cities more bicycle friendly and to encourage biking over taking a car in the milder months. Great photos.

It would be wonderful to have safe, designated lanes for bicycles. Some exist here, but cycling is not a part of the daily life as it is for you. Such a pity, really!

Nederland is inderdaad

Fijne week lieverd,

Veel liefs,
Josephine

It's wonderful to live where bicycles are the usual mode of transportation. I can only wish .... (we don't even live in places with good public transportation and that is something I regret.)

This really is a busy season -- I'm glad it isn't too cold where you are ... I am not a winter lover; in fact we are leaving soon for Florida and you know what their 'winters' are like ;>)

Hi Riet,
I love your mosaic with those gorgeous photos of the bicycles. I didn't realize it was Autumn in The Netherlands. I live part of the time in North Carolina, where it's beginning to get chilly. I will head home to Massachusetts where it's cold and snowy already.

Lovely to see you again.

I love the colours of autumn, I just hate the thought that it means the cold weather is arriving. Lovely shots. Have a good week Diane

Bicycles are popular here, too, especially in the cities. Beautiful fall colors in your photos.

My daughter and her husband visited the Netherlands a couple of summers ago and enjoyed riding bicycles throughout the cities. Such a wonderful healthy way to get around. My son rides his bike to work every day here, even in the wet and cold.

Hello Riet
More countries need to take on the serious travel of using bicycles for health and clean air. It would be terrible if one forgot where they chained their bike!
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.

I'm amazed by the number of bicycles! A few Ontario towns are working towards making themselves more "bicycle friendly" - a very positive thing to do.

Lieve groet!!! Pink

Pretty fall pictures and I love that everyone has a bike...wish we could bike more places here.

Now this is A LOT of bicycles dear Riet! I imagine in your country it is safer on your roads for cyclists than here. American drivers are fast and careless when it comes to watching out for them. I always worry about my daughter who rides hers a lot in Boise.
sending love today...

Hello Riet, I remember all the bicycles when we visited the towns along the Rhine. We saw people of all ages riding their bikes. I am not sure I would be safe riding a bike at my age. HA! Love your photos as always. I also think your FB profile photo is beautiful. You know your way with a camera. Me, not so much.

Fall is gone here in the mountains and we have had a snow fall on Thanksgiving. Our grands made a tiny snowman because there wasn't much snow. They had fun, considering they lived in Fl all their life.

Have a wonderful week.
Hugs, Jeanne
