Hello Riet,
Beautiful my friend. I love the shadows on the ground made by the fench and isn't it wonderful that the bird thought this was a great place to rest his wings?!

Oh Riet sweetie...
Again a beautiful photo. Just so beautiful. I love the lonliness of this vast field, and then I look again and find one bird perched on the post, and another below looking for food to eat. A cold winter's night for sure.

I love it. Thank you for sharing as always. I love it when you do.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

Happy Pink Saturday!

Riet, I hope you are all right.
We heard that there is a lot of snow in Europe and it's extremely cold.

Here we have -25 today, not much snow but it's Canada. A totally normal Winter.

Take care.

Hi Riet,
You have captured quite a bleak but still very beautiful country scene, are the birds magpies?
Thanks for stopping by NL today, have a great week.

Great composition of a simple but beautiful monochrome scene.
