Mosaic Monday

My contribution for Mosaic MOnday, hosted by Mary from The little red house, is all about bikes. Holland is a country full of bikes.Everybody has one. We learn to ride it when we are four years old and we ride it till we are old. So here an impression of Holland and bikes.

Wonderful photos, Riet! The shot of the orange bikes is cool. Riding bikes is a great way to get around a city.

Oh your cycles reminds me at my grandmother in Ostfriesland nearby Holland, up to 80 years cycling.
Very nice mosaic, like it!

Nice collage. In my youth I used my bike a lot but then I also lived in a town which was more flat. Where I live now we're surrounded by hills. People still use bikes quite a lot but I think in Sweden it varies a with the landscape, how popular the bike is.

Good morning Riet, Oh my, what a bunch of bikes. I think it is wonderful to ride bikes no matter what age. It is cheaper than gas and much more healthy. smile. I enjoyed your mosaic very much.

I am glad you are getting settled in your new home. Speaking from someone (me) who has moved many times, it is a very hard job to start over. Decorating is the most fun though.

I saw your sunrise photos and they are beautiful. Being high up is kind of like our mountains. We have wonderful sunrises too. Lucky you to have such a wonderful view.

Wishing you happy days in your new home.
Hugs, Jeanne

PS: I was gone all day on Saturday at a blogger party about 75 miles from here. Check my blog for a post about it. You may know some of these bloggers. It was a wonderful time.

Hi Riet...as always you have the most interesting photos for Mosaic Monday. I wish I had a bike as it's such good exercise and this is a wonderful time of year to take time and enjoy the weather on a bike ride. Maybe I could borrow one of my Grands bikes for a ride and photo shoot. Good to visit with you....Sue

I saw your 'moving' photos - brought back lots of memories - lots of hard work, but in the end - worth it. Have fun in your new home.

Dag Riet,
