Some time ago we went to visit friends of us who live in a beautiful old village called Oirschot in the south of Holland. Those old houses are so lovely and all built in the 16th and 17th century.
I will show a few here and some art that is showed here and there in the village.
He is busy reading.
This little old church was built in the 15th century, it is called the butterchurch.
The young lady here is called Mie and she is carrying a basket full of eggs.

What a pretty old town. I like the fancy step gable on those two buildings. (there's probably a different term for those ones, than 'step')
Hi Riet,
What a quaint and lovely village. It reminds me of the time I lived in Belgium. I just love the old style European buildings.
Thanks for sharing.

What a quaint and picturesque village!
Wat een gezellig stadje, lijkt me enig om daar te wonen.
Hubby said he believes we were there, Riet. Just wonderful villages in Holland, so historic, beautifully clean.
Have a beautiful week.
