Weekend reflections.

For this weeks weekend reflectionshosted by James from Newtown Area photo, I chose two pictures I took some weeks ago when the weather over here was still good. The first photo I took because it has also reflections of the trees around the pond that you can't actually see.

Great Captures, love the second on as well. The Water is so smooth, almost like a Mill Pond.

Hoi Riet,

Lieve groet,

Madelief

I concur about the second photo. It has a formality that works well. Rembrandt popped into my head when I first saw it. The ducks are good, but the second one is superb.

How interesting that the trees on both sides of the canal are in the reflection!

I can notice that one of the ducks is still performing it's morning ablutions... :-)

Riet, these photos are so beautiful! :)

The photograph of the reflections in the canal is stunning, Riet. There are so many ways that the photo shows perspective and pulls me into the image and along the canal. Truly gorgeous.

two lovely photos, I particularly like how the light is catching on the head of duck at the right hand side of the top photo

Hoi Riet,

Heerlijk sfeertje.

lieve groet Josephine

The ducks, do they remain here in Winter?

I like the second photo with the trees and the drain in between.

Riet -- those reflections are beautiful. Is that a canal in the second picture? You had some nice Fall weather there and wonderful pictures to remember it.

I like both shots--the first one has the tree reflections you mentioned, and also reflected ducks. The second one is beautiful, with color and line repeated in the reflection.
