For this weeks weekend reflectionshosted by James from Newtown Area photo, I chose two pictures I took some weeks ago when the weather over here was still good. The first photo I took because it has also reflections of the trees around the pond that you can't actually see.
For more reflections go here.

That second shot is GORGEOUS! I love everything about that photo.
Congratulations!
Outstanding pictures but I need to confess that I loved the second one! It's so romantic!
Happy weekend reflections
Luna
great photo!
good w end
Great Captures, love the second on as well. The Water is so smooth, almost like a Mill Pond.
Really like the last one.
It seems that you have the kind of winter we all should have - and magnificent for photography.
Prachtige foto's,Riet! Heel hartelijki dank voor je felicitatie!
Hoi Riet,
Wat mooi de weerspiegeling van de bomen in het water!
Een gezellig Sinterklaasweekend. Vieren jullie het nog met de kinderen en kleinkinderen? wij krijgen zondag een huis vol. Ik heb er nu al zin in!
Lieve groet,
Madelief
I concur about the second photo. It has a formality that works well. Rembrandt popped into my head when I first saw it. The ducks are good, but the second one is superb.
Interesting to have a pink rose and then write Merry Christmas have never seen that before.
Love the reflection with the trees in to lines. MB
I like the drama creative in the 2nd shot. Nice.
Both photos are beautiful, who doesn't love ducks, and you got a reflection of them as well!
The 2nd photo is stunning!
Thanks for stopping by!
How interesting that the trees on both sides of the canal are in the reflection!
I can notice that one of the ducks is still performing it's morning ablutions... :-)
Riet, these photos are so beautiful! :)
The photograph of the reflections in the canal is stunning, Riet. There are so many ways that the photo shows perspective and pulls me into the image and along the canal. Truly gorgeous.
two lovely photos, I particularly like how the light is catching on the head of duck at the right hand side of the top photo
Hoi Riet,
Beide zijn geweldig mooi, maar de eerste foto is extra bijzonder inderdaad om dat je wel de weerspeigeling ziet maar niet de bomen, PRACHTIG!!!
Enne.......deze mooie Kerst header is eing. Heerlijk sfeertje.
lieve groet Josephine
The second picture is great!
Beautiful reflection and picture! :)
Happy weekend!
The ducks, do they remain here in Winter?
I like the second photo with the trees and the drain in between.
Riet -- those reflections are beautiful. Is that a canal in the second picture? You had some nice Fall weather there and wonderful pictures to remember it.
Lovely photos ... the second is stunning ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
Both are lovely but the second is a real beauty! Well done!
Love these pics. My son is college studying Photography. He is very excited about school right now. He is at MICA (maryland college of art) getting a bachelors of fine art. He would love your work. I will pass on your link to him.
Stopping by and finding your blog lovely. Will keep checking you out more! BTW, having a giveaway at my my blog, stop by if you like. Stephanie
Fantastic reflections, both photos are so beautiful. You know I love ducks and these are great but the second photo is amazing.
Both shots are fantastic! And I specially love the composition of the second one. Beautiful scenery too!
These are beautiful—make me want to be there.
Wow, that second shot is amazing.
OMG...We both had ducks in ours. Yours are very well done my friend :)
I love the duck that is back end up in your first photo. The second is just lovely. Great refections and a wonderful peaceful mood.
I like both shots--the first one has the tree reflections you mentioned, and also reflected ducks. The second one is beautiful, with color and line repeated in the reflection.
lovely reflection. beautiful spot.
Beautiful reflections, I love the ducks. But the second photo is really outstanding! Kathy
