Shadow Shot Sunday.

Shadow Shot Sunday is hosted by Hey Harriet.

I have two shadow photo's from Spain when we were there in September. This first photo is of a little narrow street in a medieval village called Pals. Most streets in these old villages are very narrow so they give a lot of shadow in the summer.

Isn't this bougainville gorgeous? I love that color.

I'd love to wander down that lane. I love the bougainvillea, too cold here to grow it successfully.

The shadows inside the narrow passages is as it was when constructed centuries ago - full of shadow with the mere hint of light. Lovely if a bit constricted .he second view is wonderful - the tree with the magenta leaves leaving a striking shadow. Beautiful!

Exquisite little laneway! It looks as if it leads right into a fairytale! And the bougainvillea is so very beautiful and exotic!

Hoi Riet,

Spain has lots of neat shadows. I love that tree. I have some plants, but never saw a tree like this.

I could meander up and down those narrow little streets for hours and be quite content!

SHADOW, WILL YOU?

Shadow, will you always be
Here where I can always see
What you do and how you play?
Or will you just slip away?

Oh yes....that magenta colored bougainvillea is super. Ours in our yard didn't do too well this past summer with all the drought and extreme heat.

Off the Pier...shadows is my link, if you'd care to view.

Have a great day.
