Monday.

After a few quiet days I am showing some  photo’s for different  Monday memes.
First for Mosaic Monday I want to show some vintage in my home.  Vintage is fashion they tell me.
And at my age I have plenty of that .

For the different memes I have:

First my queen Anne chair. Of course it has  had different upholstery over the years.

My Japanese teacups

The beautiful crystal glasses I gave my husband as an engagement present  53 years ago.
I have 4 wineglasses and 5 sherry glasses left.

And the beautiful hand painted Herend tea cups of the teaservice I have.

And another mosaic  with outside photo’s I made this week.

The picture of your Queen Anne chair is so soft and dreamy, it makes me wanna grab a book and sit down to read! I like the coffee cops as well - my mom has a similar set, I cherish the moments with her ;)
Lovely pictures, Of a lovely home, Riet!

Beautiful . . . I love your Queen Anne . . . and the thought of your crystal gift to your husband many years ago. I am reminded of carrying our chosen china pattern cup and saucer, in a small box, on my lap, as I flew to meet him before our wedding . . . sweet memories.

handbeschilderde porseleinen
kopjes, wauwwww.

En je Queen Anne chair, ook al
zo'n schoonheid, die heerlijk
zit lijkt me.

Het valt me op dat bij jullie
de natuur nog zo groen is.
Hier zie je al erg veel geel
en allerlei rood tinten.....

Geniet van een fijne nieuwe week,

Liefs,
Josephine

Riet, I salute you for your marriage longevity! I am also in the same boat (married 55 years). Your photo shows that your husband robbed the cradle when you married! LOL! What a lovely post you have made today. I love the hand-painted tea cups.

I love all that old glass ware. It is so much prettier than most of the new stuff.

Hello Riet,
I'm realizing more and more the most of the things in my home qualify as vintage! I understand! LOL!

I love seeing some of your lovely things. It is not often that you share your home and I love seeing a small part of it.

hugs

The chair has such pretty lines...I also like the tea cups...so many patterns to appreciate. Everything is beautiful and how nice that you have so much of your crystal glass set left. I have none of mine! Yikes.

I'm like you most of what I've got is vintage - I'm a little vintage too and have been married 42 years!

I've linked my new post today to Little Red house too, photos taken when I was in France!

Je hebt mooie voorwerpen verzameld. Als je ze zo op een foto ziet, zie je pas hoe mooi dingen zijn. Je bent er zo aan gewend dat het het soms niet meer ziet.

Beautiful, Riet! My eyes were immediately drawn to the Herend cups and saucers, and I'm glad you identified them.
