Friday, Saturday

This week we have been out for a couple of days and this is what I saw.
Fences, blooms , reflections and a beautiful  old French pink car.

We also visited two museums in a little old village called Spakenburg  . In one museum there were over 200 quilts shown. All very beautiful. I am going to show some photo’s from there soon on my other blog
Spakenburg is one of the few places in the Netherlands where some women still wear local traditional clothes. Will show photo’s of those later.

Here is my entry for today.

Dat roze autootje is heel grappig! Dat is vast een mooie tentoonstelling over die quilts. Heb een vriendin die daar ook mee bezig is, prachtige werkstukken zijn het.

Hello Riet, please to meet another neighbor from the Netherlands. I have long corresponded with a blogging friend from there.
Your photographs are a dream, and I could not help but notice your sidebar image encouraging visitors to take time to smell the roses. I certainly agree. :)
I look forward to visiting.
Happy pinks!

I'm lovin' that car! Pink and purple, how fun! When I visited The Netherlands, I remember seeing women wearing traditional clothing... but I don't remember what town!

That little pink car is so cute dearest Riet! I don't think my husband would go for it though :)
I LOVED your beautiful white collage in your post before. The geese made me smile and think of my childhood. My mother kept many geese and they would follow me everywhere. Such a sweet memory that I had forgotten all about until I saw your beautiful post of whites.

The car is great, Riet! A perfect post for pink Saturday. I enjoyed the view of your friend's "dyke" house--is it along a canal? I love the large windows that houses have in Holland --so much light and often pretty lace and flowers at the window. I wonder why their windows are so large.

Dag Riet,
Weer lekker op stap, het is je gegund. Hopelijk gaat het met jullie beiden goed. Geniet er van! Je foto's zijn in ieder geval prachtig. Lekker roze in deze tijd van oranje.
Lieve groet, Marja
