Het is er prachtig Riet, de zon zou ik zo graag op mijn huid willen voelen. Grappig dat de pelikaan zo dichtbij je man gaat staan, in de hoop een visje mee te krijgen.

Fijne avond! Liefs, Ingrid

So nice to gaze upon this on a cold, gray day. I could actually enjoy exercising in a workout room like that!

Hello Riet, it is nice seeing your wonderful warm Florida photos. I like the Pelican and the iguana. Did your DH share a fish with the Pelican? Thanks for sharing your trip, have a happy week!

A lovely place to stay and well looked after - look at the rake lines in the sand on the breakfast photo! I'm looking forward to our trip to Florida next year.

With cold temps and snow here, your photos are quite inviting :)

Dit is weer even heerlijk meegenieten, het is echt een
SUPER mooie locatie.
En al zou je helemaal nergens
zin in hebben om te ondernemen
dan is alles rondom dat Hotel
een feest om te vertoeven.

Ontbijtje in de zon, misschien af
en toe even op de Hometrainer, hihi.
En dan zo'n kronkelende leguaan
om je benen heen, hahaha wat
een engerd zeg.

Nou lieffie, ik heb het weer even
heerlijk warm gekregen bij
het zien van deze goddelijke plek.

Veel liefs,
Josephine

It sure is nice to look at these 'warm' pictures when outside it is very cold and snowy.

Lovely photos but I'm going to have to read some back posts to figure out where you are. I don't think it's Holland!

Wish I had been there too, Riet!

Lovely photos from Florida Riet.
I do love Pelicans.
We lived in Queensland, Australia for 3 years and they were regular visitors along the shoreline - comical and very tame.

Was dat een soort varaan of leguaan op het terras? Wel een bijzondere gast.

Warm heavenly photos of beaches, palm trees, and iguanas! Just what I need to bask in to forget the cold and ice outside.

Hi Riet,

I imagine you'll enjoy that trip over and over again as you look at these photos. Florida is a beautiful state; however, like you, I'd rather not face an iguana. We actually had a family of iguanas moved into our backyard tree when we lived in Pembroke Pines. YUK!

Happy Blue Monday!

Good morning Riet, I have been very busy with Christmas and garden club activities but finally I have a bit of time to visit you. I agree about our many interests in common. No wonder I have felt a connection to you all this time. Blogging has been a blessing in many ways. Making friends has been a wonderful and unexpected bonus.

Your Islamorada visit and photos are wonderful. I have been there so many times when we lived in Miami. You captured the beauty of this place and the interesting wildlife as well. When I visited all three posts, I feel like I am there. A great share, thank you.

We will be in Florida again for Christmas and a wedding in Punta Gorda. My great niece is getting married Dec. 28th and that is her home. The West Coast of FL is equally as beautiful.

Wishing you and your family a happy Christmas celebration with blessings and Peace.
BIG hugs,
Jeanne
