Key Islamorada # 4

Next to our hotel was a little harbor where people could go fishing with one of the boats. It was fun to go there and watch the boats come back and see what the catch of the day was.

I enjoyed this and the last two posts of your trip, Riet. It looks so nice and hot there when we're having -18C temperatures at night this week and -12 in the daytime. I'm dressed in layers and still am cold. I sure don't like winter.

Liefs, Ingrid

Dat lijkt me heerlijk om allemaal
te bekijken lieve Rietje. Al die
bedrijvigheid rondom de boten
en de enthousiaste vissers.
Zie ik er nu ook een aantal
heerlijke forellen tussen liggen?

En die gigantische grote vogels
van zo dichtbij te kunnen bekijken
lijkt me zeer indrukwekkend.

Die lusten die heerlijke
vishapjes wel.....

Veel liefs,
Josephine

Those fish the fishermen caught are unusual looking...so long and skinny. The colors in your photos are so vivid and pretty. It must have been a beautiful day.

Watching the fishing fleet come in is certainly one of the joys of living right on the beach (in different years, we've had our RV on the Keys, on the Oregon Coast, and on the Texas Gulf Coast, where we could walk down to the docks at those times .. it is wonderful) Not sure what that catch of the day is though, gosh those are funny looking fish.

You had such a perfect vacation ... thanks for sharing it with us!

Such wonderful photos dear Riet! Walking the docks with you was a lot of fun tonight...one can dream, right? I think I'm going to live in these photos instead of facing the frigid temperatures here:)
much love...

Mooie foto's, Riet.

The sign is quite stunning ! It looks like it is not allowed to throw rocks if your mother tongue is English, since it is not translated in Spanish...

Cool shots, Riet !
