still more trip photo’s.

One more set of photo’s from that beautiful little part of our country just north of Amsterdam.

Today back to Durgerdam .

This lovely building once used to be a school and a townhall. These days it is a home that you can rent for a lot of money , but then of course you have something very special and directly at the lake.

2-DSC02868

Houses along the dyke.

Lots of blue in this post for Blue Monday with Smiling Sally.

3-DSC02872

So good to be on your bike on a sunny day .

5-DSC02886

More old houses and look at the front , these two neighbors both have a rabbit cage in their front garden.

and on the other side of the street you see this, down here

6-DSC02890

What better to dry your goods than sun and wind.

And what a view these people have when sitting in their front gardens.

Hi Riet! Charming, oh so charming village. The colors, the light! I really like bikes that allow a person to sit upright, too. I could ride again if I could do that. Thank you for sharing such lovely photos of your corner.

Wait a minute! I went back to check on the rabbit hutches and there on the pole I spied something...what in the world is that?

Hello Riet
The word quaint comes to mind when I see this village and the pretty pastel colours.
Thank you for participating in Mosaic Monday and sharing such an interesting collage from your country.

HOERA!!!

Veel liefs,
Josephine

I love this little village! Oh, to be there with you would be a dream. It has such a quaintness to it, doesn't it?
I'm not sure I would really need to live in the house with the bell tower though. My naughty little grandchildren would be too tempted to ring it and wake the whole village :)
much love...

Charming little cottages with lovely views across the canal and fields beyond!
Wishing you a happy week

Hello Riet, Your country is full of such charming places. I love the pale colours of the houses along the canal, and that square building that was once a schoolhouse.

What a charming little village, I like the pointed roofs but wouldn't want to have to do a roofing job on them. I also like the bikes that let the rider sit upright, that looks like a great place to ride bikes, as well as a great place for views and blue skies. Thanks for the tour!

I'd find it hard to work in my garden with views like that. What a charming village with what would be a perfect location for me.
