One more set of photo’s from that beautiful little part of our country just north of Amsterdam.
Today back to Durgerdam .
This lovely building once used to be a school and a townhall. These days it is a home that you can rent for a lot of money , but then of course you have something very special and directly at the lake.
Houses along the dyke.
Lots of blue in this post for Blue Monday with Smiling Sally.
So good to be on your bike on a sunny day .
More old houses and look at the front , these two neighbors both have a rabbit cage in their front garden.
and on the other side of the street you see this, down here
What better to dry your goods than sun and wind.
And what a view these people have when sitting in their front gardens.

Hi Riet! Charming, oh so charming village. The colors, the light! I really like bikes that allow a person to sit upright, too. I could ride again if I could do that. Thank you for sharing such lovely photos of your corner.
Wait a minute! I went back to check on the rabbit hutches and there on the pole I spied something...what in the world is that?
Charming indeed . . . thank you Riet for bringing us along with you! Loved the front yard rabbit cages!
What a charming, peaceful looking community. I think that I would enjoy a place like that very much. Happy Week to you Riet~
Wat is het daar prachtig Riet. Ik ga dit plaatsje onthouden. Lieve groet,
Hello Riet
The word quaint comes to mind when I see this village and the pretty pastel colours.
Thank you for participating in Mosaic Monday and sharing such an interesting collage from your country.
Everything looks so clear and beautiful against that blue sky! Beautiful mosaics this week! Hugs, Diane
HOERA!!!
Veel liefs,
Josephine

I love this little village! Oh, to be there with you would be a dream. It has such a quaintness to it, doesn't it?
I'm not sure I would really need to live in the house with the bell tower though. My naughty little grandchildren would be too tempted to ring it and wake the whole village :)
much love...
Hello Riet, I love this colorful town.. The houses are cute! And it nice to have a view of the water. Pretty photos, thanks for sharing. Have a happy new week!
Hello dear Riet
Your lovely photos just ooze "summer" to me and make me want to pack my bags and head off to warmer temperatures!
Charming little cottages with lovely views across the canal and fields beyond!
Wishing you a happy week
Shane
Hello Riet, Your country is full of such charming places. I love the pale colours of the houses along the canal, and that square building that was once a schoolhouse.
You do live in a pretty part of the world. Those blue house are fascinating...your photographs are great.
That's a wonderful place to live in.
Excellent shots.

Hi Riet,
Charming is the word that comes to mind as I study your pictures of the many shades of blue. Thanks for playing today.
Happy Blue Monday,
beautiful...the town looks so clean and peaceful. love all the cyclists. Interesting to see the rabbit cages too...
Hello Riet, I am posting again after a long break. It is so good to be back. I have missed visiting you very much.
I enjoyed your photos so much today. The village is charming and it gives me a sense of peace to see the homes and a place where life seems not to change.
Happy Blue Monday Riet.

Jeanne

What a charming little village, I like the pointed roofs but wouldn't want to have to do a roofing job on them. I also like the bikes that let the rider sit upright, that looks like a great place to ride bikes, as well as a great place for views and blue skies. Thanks for the tour!
This place looks beautiful.
I'd find it hard to work in my garden with views like that. What a charming village with what would be a perfect location for me.
the town is charming. the architecture is beautiful.
Charming!

Heerlijke zomerse foto's Riet. Ik ben eigenlijk nog nooit die kant op geweest. Moet ik toch gauw maar eens doen!
