Another Outdoor Wednesday today, hosted by Susan from A Southern Daydreamer.
The photo's I put in this mosaic today I took some weeks ago in and around one of our favorite parks not far from our home. There are a lot of herons in that neighbourhood and on my two bottom photo's you can see just a bit of them. I tried to enlarge the photo's but that didn't make them very clear. You can't get near the birds to take pictures. Overall you can see that winter is coming. Nature is getting grey.
Please click on photo to enlarge.
For more outdoor pictures go to Susan's blog. There is a list of all the participants of this weekly event.

marvelous collage. your dog is handsome! what's his name?
Lovely photographs and yes like here in the UK it is quite dull most of the time but yestedrday and today we have had some sun. I was out in the garden about 8am and it sounded like a Spring day with the birds singing and flying around. I am just going to download the photographs I took before I went shopping.
I find Heron's very hard to photograph, they must have very good hearing and eyesight as they are so quick to detect you and fly away, usually the other way to where you have the camera pointed!!!
Best wishes, Jackie.
Mooi :o) I love your mosaic! Different pictures who fits perfect together! I've not clever at doing collages/mosaics, tried only a few times in Photoshop. How do you make yours?
Wish you a happy wednesday!
Great photos...but, I'm kinda partial to the sweet fur baby, the dog!!!
My O W is now posted. Today a slide show of us attending the famous Texas King Ranchhand Breakfast. Come see a bit of 'history' if you can.
It's Here
Nice mosaic, Riet. The grey makes us appreciate the colour in spring and summer. :)
Nice nature shots, Riet! And I love your dog. What a sweetie...
Happy Outdoor Wednesday!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Hoi Riet,
Wat een mooie plaatjes. Ben je er gisteren ook nog op uit geweest met je fototoestel? Het was zulk prachtig weer!
Lieve groet,
Madlief
Oh Riet...
How absolutely beautiful these photos are today. I love the black faced sheep. Isn't he just precious? The herons are awesome. Ofcourse I love the lake photo. It appears to have gone to sleep for the winter. It's job is done until Spring, so it may rest. It has been a long season I am sure.
Ofcourse I love the dog's face. I love the way they look at us when we photograph them. Is this one yours?
Stop by and say hi. I posted a couple of pics of what I have been sewing on the last few nights.
Country hugs...Sherry
It looks so peaceful! You did a wonderful collage. I think, by winter we'll see another kind of beauty in these same spots.
And you have a lovely dog!
Lovely mosaic of your beautiful outdoor views ;-)
Hugs and blessings,
My Outdoor Wednesday
Beautiful outdoor shots!!!
I always enjoy your blog. Gorgeous mosaic photo.
Hi Riet,
Your mosaics are always so beautifully crafted, thanks for another great one today.
Maggie
Riet,
More beautiful pictures and what a handsome dog!
Carol
What stunning photos you take! And I love that little doggy; he looks so sweet!
You are right about the world being drained of its color for the winter. From now till April, too much gray!
But there is still beauty in the forms beneath the colors, as you have shown today.
Cass
Jij woont in zo een mooie buurt...je kunt nog jaren vooruit met de mooiste collages!!
Fijne donderdag!!
Groetjes Thea
What a lovely collage. We are so fortunate that you have an "eye" for the beautiful scenery that surrounds you.
Wonderful nature mosaic. I love the herons. And your dog is a cutie!
Hi Riet, the images are still fabulous under the grey skies!
Yes winter is coming indeed! Nature is getting grey but also beautiful as your pictures capture. :)
Tanks for your answer about how make your lovely mosaics! I've already got Picasa on my computer, but never used it. I tried it and it worked out well!
