My World Tuesday

For My World I chose these two pictures I made this summer. These are from Our World Heritage site Kinderdijk. All these mills are all built around 1740. There are 19 of them there.

For more my world photo´s go here.

Oh, I love your photos, Riet! They brought back lovely memories of my trip to the Netherlands/Holland and reminded me how fascinating the windmills were to me at that time! They still are!

Enjoy your week!

Hoi Riet,

Prachtige foto's weer.

Lieve groet Josephine

And whichever way it may blow
I meet it face to face,

somehow windmills always bring me a feeling of quiet and comfort. There was a working mill on Cape Cod in Massachussetts U.S.A. when I was little. We would pass lilacs on our way and my mother would bring in grain to be milled. I even remember the owl. :-)

Wow, great windmills. I take it they're in running order - don't look 270 years old.
Wonderful photos.
