Today starts another Weekend reflections hosted by James from Newtown Area Photo.
These pictures I took last week on a nice wintery day. The trees made nice reflections in the water

I like the angle of the 2nd shot - is it some sort of canal? It seems so perfectly straight!

Nice shots.

Your first image is really nice with the reflection running straight through the canal.

Love them both. The first photo really leads the eye right down that canal! Beautiful reflections.

Beautiful reflections, but I'm partial to the first: I like it more for the perspective and the light.

I love them. The trees and the sky make such a beautiful image. I also like your Christmas header.

Two excellent images. The first formal and the second pays homage to the stately trees so well.

Jeetje zeg, wat een gigantische bomenrij, mooi de weerspiegeling in het water. Zal zomers ook erg mooi zijn op die plek.

Heerlijk weekend,
Lieve groet Josephine

I love the way there is a hint of color in the sky peeking through the trees.
So peaceful.

I do love a beautiful reflection and that's what both of these are. The trees so stark against the water. Just beautiful!

I love the symmetry of the first shot and I like the winding reflections in the second!

The trees and the canal are a very clear example of perspective, Riet. I love how the eye reacts to this sort of image.

I hope you have an enjoyable time over the next two weeks.

Both pictures looks a lot like the scenery from my childhood years. It reminds me how much Holland and West Vlaanderen ( where I was brought up) look alike!
BEAUTIFUL pictures Riet!

Oh, Riet, its a beautiful composition! The center between the reflections looks like a straight light coming from beyond!

Happy Holidays to you and your family!
