Scenic Sunday

For Scenic Sunday I chose these two photo's I made in August on a beautiful sunny day. This scene with the windmills is in Rotterdam, one of Hollands biggest cities. The river is called the Rotte.

For more scenic Sunday photo's go here. There is a list of all the participants.

Oh Riet!
I love these windmills. I think of all the things that I look at pictures of, I love the windmills most of all. The reflection of the happiness is captured in the water, and it looks so laid back and easy, in a happy sort of way.

I just love it. Thank you so much for sharing.

Country hugs...Sherry

Beautiful shots, Riet! I just love windmills. I especially love the reflection of the first one with the orange awnings. Such a tranquil scene! I am originally from Holland, but maybe I have told you that already.

I love to paint windmills. I have done several from pictures I took in New England. Nice post.

Riet,

It looks as though those windmills are sitting on top of the houses? Are they?

Absolutely beautiful!

Lieve groet Josephine
