Pink Saturday.

Pink Saturday is like every week hosted by sweet Beverly of “How sweet the sound”

This Saturday I want to show you a few pictures of the 17th century mansion Wimpole Hall that we visited on our first day in England . We would stay in Cambridge and this was quite near. After the death of her husband captain George Bambridge in 1943 , mrs Elsie Bambridge, daughter of writer and poet Rudyard Kipling, went on restoring  the house until she died in 1976. After that  the National Trust took over the care for the estate.

The house is full of the most beautiful paintings and  furniture  and in the library there are more than 10000 books.

Skywatch Friday.

While visiting England we also went to Windsor. We wanted to visit the castle but there were so many tourists that we passed. We just had some nice lunch , made some photo’s and left again. It was raining now and then so the sky did change regularly.

Here I have some photo’s for Skywatch Friday.

Skywatch Friday.

Skywatch Friday is a weekly meme with photo's from skywatchers from all over the world.

This week I have photo's of a beautiful English sky above stunning lavender fields.
I couldn't believe what I saw. So beautiful. Several different colors in rows. Never seen anything like it. And that gorgeous smell!
In person it is even more breathtaking. The Snowshill lavender farm is in the Cotswolds in a little village called Broadway.

Happy skywatch Friday. For more skies from all over the world go here:http://skyley.blogspot.com/

Don't forget my give-away.

Alphabe Thursday.

Alphabe Thursday is hosted by Jenny Matlock. This week we need to come up with words beginning with the letter N.

Yesterday I posted mostly flowers from a park called Nymans. It used to be a beautiful estate  but I will let you see there is Nobody there.

The park and the gardens are still beautiful , kept so by the National Trust in England.
