Monday.

 

These photo’s I made in November . This is the Northsea beach in Noordwijk.  The weather then was about the same as the last few weeks here but now it is supposed to be spring .  It has been so cold.

Tomorrow is a special holiday here in Holland as we celebrate our queens birthday and guess what, the weather is going to be beautiful and warm for the first time this spring.

Pink Saturday.

 

Today is a sad day for me. Last week a long time friend of mine died and today we buried her. She was younger than me and very ill. It feels so strange not to be able to see and talk to her any more. It is the first of my friends that was so near that is not here any more.

 

Today a collage of  different flowers and blooms and all different colors of pink.

Another Thursday, another letter to study for Ms Matlocks class.  This week it is the letter W.  There are many words starting with W  like World Wide Webb for instance but I just chose White and Water. My collage speaks for itself.

Last year around this time I made these photo’s in a big park in Rotterdam. Everything was bright and colorful. Last Sunday we went there again and there was nothing in bloom at all.  I imagine due to the cold weather we still have here.

Alphabe Thursday.

This week we need to study the letter V for Ms Matlocks class. Of course there are many words starting with V but for me , I only could think of Vacation.   Spring over here is very cold and wet and we all long for some sun and warmer weather.  Don’t know about you. :))
So I made a collage of Vacation photo’s from last year.  Most of them I made in Spain , only the couple looking at the sea I made in France.  I am sure they loved the beautiful sight.  So did we.

The weather here is really cold for the time of  year so to keep  me warm I made a mosaic of summery flower photo’s from last year. I made these photo’s in a lovely teagarden  called  “De Winde “ in the country. The garden was full of color  but today I chose  photo’s with mainly white , blue and red.

For Ms Matlock’s class we have to study the letter T this week.
Thank you is my first T word and I want to say Thank you  to all of you who kept me in their thoughts and prayers last week when I had back surgery. It all went well and I am on my way back to recovery. That will take some time but I will get there I am sure.
I made a collage of my favorite flowers , Tulips. I have masses of photo’s with tulips of different colors but I only picked a few to show here. Our world Tuesday and Thank you.

First of all I want to thank everybody who kept me in their thoughts and prayers this last week. I am very thankful and  happy to say that  surgery went well and that I just have to be careful with my back for at least the next 6 weeks.  But I can  make photo’s and blog so what more can I want. The only problem is that I can't sit for more than 15 minutes at a time.  I am going to start visiting you all as soon as possible..It will take some more time. Sorry for that.

These next few photo’s I made in a little park not far from here  the day before I went into hospital . Unlike today it was a nice and warm sunny day and everything was starting to bloom. We thought we were going right into summer but that was a mistake. These last few days are cold and windy and it seems to stay like that for at least another week. Not nice.
