Alphabe Thursday.

Last week I sent in my D words for ms Jenny's class. I forgot because of Thanksgiving there was no class. I looked for another D word  for this week is and I found Daffodil..
Seeing Daffodils makes me long for spring. Don't you want spring?

Our world Tuesday.

The week before last we went to the beach in a little village called Noordwijk. The beach and the dunes are beautiful there and of course the North Sea  .I spent many a day there when I was young but mostly in the summer.
This day it was cold and windy but there was a  clear blue sky and  some sun so it was good for walking.  That's what we did.

Two days ago my friend and I had a High Tea in a lovely tearoom. It was delicious. All of it.
Here a little impression of the tearoom in and outside and what we were surprised with.
I must say that the little tarts on the big plate were fake but they looked so real. Unbelievable. They were handmade the lady said. and for sale.

Decide which ones to show so I made a collage.

By now everybody knows I am Dutch so the first photo is more or less a Dutch country sight.
Then we have this statue of the Dancing girls
This beautiful Delft blue vase, 
The Ducks on a little island,
The Darling kissing Dolls,
The Dunes ,
The Delicatessen shop,
That large Door
and the beautiful swimming Dogs.

These last few weeks I have been so busy and tired that I have not been posting much. So I am using photo's I made this time last year while walking in a beautiful little park. Many different mushrooms and I am sorry to  admit that  I don't know their names. But I think they are all beautiful.

Shadow Shot Sunday.

For  Shadow shot Sunday hosted by HeyHarriet.
I have a photo of this beautiful old windmill .As you can see in the top it was built in 1740. It is one of the 19 mills situated in Kinderdijk, the place that is on the world heritage list.The second photo shows some more of the windmills. We were there on a very sunny day last summer as you can see.

Shadow Shot Sunday.

I have two shadow photo's from Spain when we were there in September. This first photo is of a little narrow street in a medieval village called Pals. Most streets in these old villages are very narrow so they give a lot of shadow in the summer.

                      Isn't this bougainville gorgeous? I love that color.
