Today we visited the beautiful very old city of Gouda. Probably you all know Gouda for its cheese. It’s also famous for its candles.

I just want to show you some of the old houses and the beautiful old townhall . All the buildings I show today are built in the 14th and 15th cenntury I made almost 200 photo’s today so I have a lot to show in the next few days.

Black and white.

Today we went for a drive in the country as the weather was so beautiful. On our way we saw these cute little black lambs and their parents. It says spring all over don’t you think. Wonderful.

Skywatch Friday.

After a lot of trouble and waiting for picasa to work again I decided to stop using it for now and work with windows live writer. I did it before it is just getting used to again. I couldn't find the extra's such as giving my signature but I will try to find it when I have the time.

I read that you people can't see my photo. I am sorry about that. I really don't know what is wrong. I have been trying 5 times to get this log posted it finally worked and now my photo doesn't show up.
maybe it is something with picasa.

Mensen Ik lees net dat mijn foto niet tevoorschijn komt. Wat een ellende. Ik heb 5 keer geprobeert om mijn log er op te krijgen en nou is de foto er niet. Misschien iets met picasa ? Ik weet het niet. Jammer

Last Wednesday the weather was so beautiful. We went for a family visit in an other part of the country.We passed this little old village Broek op Langendijk.The old houses are gorgeeous and the countryside is beautiful there. The reflection on the water I thought was good for a photo, even the blue sky reflected.

 

Skywatch Friday

A few days ago we had a clear sky and full moon. Of course I had to make this photo. Good for Skywatch Friday. We have had some beautiful sunny spring days this week and believe me it makes me feel so much better. THis long dreary winter made me feel sad and tired. Didn't feel like blogging and making photo's any more. Thankfully that changed and I have been making a lot of photo's these last few days.Sun is so good for us people don't you think.

Skywatch Friday.

 

Another Skywatch Friday today. How time flies. Have had a very busy week. Getting into town with the grandchildren for their birthday presents. We have two birthdays next week. It is so much fun to go shopping with them and having a nice lunch. I love it.

For this Skywatch Friday I have this sunset picture I made two days ago. The sun was a beautiful red ball. Couldn’t stop watching.

My world Tuesday

Dear friends. Thank you all for your good wishes.I will try visit all of you soon.
I am still not really better but I am feeling a little better now. Thank goodness for that. This is a real bad flu.


Our cruise started in the port of Miami so here some photo's of that great city. I just show a photo of a piece of the ship.Later I wil show more. Behind and in front of it were more of those enormous cruiseships. Unbelievably big.About 300 meters long and 35 meters wide ours was.

Lieve mensen , dank je wel voor al je goeie wensen. Ik voel me gelukkkig wat beter maar het is een hardnekkige griep, hij wil niet gauw over gaan.Het hoesten gaat langzaam beter maar is nog niet weg.

Dear friends. I am still not better from that terrible flu.Never had this before. Sick for so long .Also have a bladder infection so I am not very happy at the moment. What we need is sun and spring.I am sure everything will get better then.Keeping optimistic.

Lieve vrienden. Ben nog steeds niet beter. Die griep is erg vervelend. Heb er nou ook nog blaasontsteking bij gekregen dus ik ben niet erg gelukkig momenteel.Hopelijk is de kou nou gauw voorbij, dan zal het wel weer beter gaan.

skywatch Friday

Dear friends.
We are back from our cruise and had a wonderful time. The first days the weather wasn't very good , we had rain in Key West and Jamaica. THis picture is of the sky over Jamaica when we were there.

Now why I didn't post before. I have a VERY bad FLU. Got it on our last day in Miami last FRiday. We were home on Saturday afternoon after traveling for about 24 hours. We had to wait for hours because of a broken computer in the plane and then after all we had to move to another plane because the computer couldn't be fixed.
I have been sleeping most of our last few days and I hope you don't mind me visiting you just yet. AS soon as I feel better I will start posting again as I have plenty of photo´s to show.

Lieve vrienden. Ik heb een zware griep. Ben al vanaf het weekend behoorlijk ziek.Slaap erg veel. Ik kom gauw weer op bezoek , zo gauw ik me weer wat mens voel. De vakantie was heerlijk, alleen hadden we niet al te mooi weer.
