Blue Monday and Mosaic Monday

First of all I want to say it is give-away time because of my three years of blogging. At the bottom of this post I will tell more.
Now , as some of you may know we were in England these last two weeks for our holidays . What a beautiful country it is. I made more than a thousand photo’s so  there is a lot to show in the next weeks. We visited  the most beautiful gardens, houses and palaces .  I am going to have to sort it all out first and then take  one day at a time.

Pink Saturday.

Today I celebrate my 3rd anniversary in blogland.  In July 2008 I started blogging and in November of that year I joined Beverly at Pink Saturday. Now that really started me blogging. I began in my former blog.
In 2009 I started my  blog Riet’s Photoblog  and I still post here a few times each week. Now to really celebrate my anniversary I will  be having a give-away starting July 18th, after our two weeks holiday in England. By that time I hope to have everything ready to make a photo of what I chose. The give-away will end at August 7.
Now for Pink Saturday hosted by sweet Beverly of How sweet the Sound I made a collage of beautiful pink summer flowers in my cousins garden. There even is a little red, white and blue  here also.

My world Tuesday.

On April 30th we celebrate our queens birthday. Most of the pe
ople in our country have the day off. It is always a lot of fun and like every year there is a fleamarket on the streets in most towns, mostly for children to sell their stuff they don't want any more or have outgrown. It is all free, they just put a plaid down and try to sell. .This year it was near our new home and since we live on the 12th floor we had a good look at all  the festivities. Of course we visited the market and the fair that was near it. It was a beautiful day and the weather was wonderful.

Scenic Sunday.

Some time ago we went to visit friends of us who live in a beautiful  old village called Oirschot in  the south of Holland. Those old houses are so lovely and all built in the 16th and 17th century.
I will show a few here and some art that is showed here and there in the village.

Watery and Outdoor Wednesday.

Today we went to a for us new little park and I made a lot of photo's there. First I saw this heron who stood on the same place all the time we were there. And then there was this blond duck with newborn babies. So lovely.One was lost and made a lot of noise so ma flew over there to get her back.

These photo's I made in the south of France where we visited friends in a place called Canet Plage. .It is beautiful there. I want you to look at the top right photo there were so many snails( a delicasy in France, escargots) sticking all together on that plant. And the little steps which were there just for show. There was nothing behind it.:)) Just land and sea.

Since we are back from our  holidays in Spain I am going through all my photo's I made there and on our way through France. I have so many that I hardly don't know where to begin. Skywatch Friday

Last week when we were in Spain I made these phose's in a beautiful nature park. There are lots of storks growing up there.  Whole families really. Such a beautiful sight of these beautiful birds. I called it stork ciity.:)) Many many nests on tall poles. Or in tall trees.Some poles had three nests above oneanother.
