Monday Tuesday.

This time of year it usually is rather cold over here. Not this time. We had hardly any frost and no snow at all. Different from other parts of the world where there inches of it as I read on several blogs.

This is also the time of year that I like to think about going on vacation , like where and when.

It is so nice to look at photo´s that bring back memories.

I did make a little collage of photo´s I made in England when we were there a few years ago. I would love to go and visit those beautiful gardens again.

A person can always dream….right?

I would love to visit the gardens of England, the place where it all started for us in Canada. At least you've been, I'm still dreaming. ;-)

Lieve groet, Ingrid

I love those lavender blues and dark crimson reds together!

We spoke to our daughter in France last night and she said it is 10 degrees and raining - no snow either!

I always love your photo mosaics Riet!
Wishing you a happy new week in the Netherlands.

Hugs
Shane in New Zealand and sometimes in France!

Wouldn't it be lovely to pull up a chair in that garden and have a cup of tea. I can see why you loved it there. Valerie

It's good to visit your blog again, Riet. Happy New Year!
I'd love to be planning a holiday in a sunny place - preferably a place with a long beach and wonderful clear water. On the other hand, I'd be very happy to sit in that summer garden to sip tea and chat.

Hi Riet, what a lovely lovely collage!! My visit to some parts of United Kingdom in 2012 (specially to Anne Hathaway's Garden in Stratford-upon-Avon) was my utmost inspiration for requesting my bf that when we have our own house, I want a space to have my garden where I can grow different flowers :)

Your wish is the same for me, I wish to visit the beautiful gardens and castles in the UK again in the near future!

Happy Blue Monday and I believe it's not yet late for me to wish you and your family, a healthy, happy, and prosperous 2014!

PS. If you have time to check, the link for the Anne Hathaway's cottage in my blog is:

Fijne week!

The brick house is so lovely with it's long history and patina. The garden is a fitting setting, so lovely, it would be nice to visit there. My husband was explaining that the polar vortex moved over Canada so North America had record lows but Europe was much warmer than usual. Enjoy!
